To reassure you that we are doing all that we can to support efforts to minimise the spread of Covid 19 we have signed up to the Track and Trace system. When you visit us it would be great if you could also check in with Track and Trace by scanning the QR codes as you enter. If you don’t have the app you can easily download it from the Google Play store or the Apple App store. Thank you for your support!
After the bleakness of winter, especially this one with Covid and lockdown restrictions, beautiful spring days like today can lift our spirits and help us feel more positive about the future. We are so fortunate here at Verbatim to have a beautiful setting so that our clients can experience ‘Healing in the Heart of Nature.’
Life can be challenging at the best of times and so at the moment it is totally understandable that you might find yourself struggling more than you might usually.
Cooking (and the eating that follows) is a great opportunity to come alongside our clients (children and adults alike) to create a safe comforting space where they can talk freely and process the things that may be going on in their lives.
Yesterday we were very excited to have a group of children join us from a local school for our first proper Forest School session led by our specialist Forest School teacher Sophie. We had great fun building shelters, making clay heads and finishing with toasting marshmallows over the fire 😋
We are so excited to be working in conjunction with Inner Grace Equine and Animal Assisted Therapy Centre in Wisbech. We regularly have Winnie (Miniature Shetland Pony) and Oscar (Dog) accompanied by Michelle Smith (Animal Assisted Therapist) come and join us for the day to share their healing therapeutic vibes!
